Oscars!

I know this is a bit late, and I haven't been on in a while, but whatever.

I LOVE the Oscars! I think this is the first time that I've actually watched the whole thing through. I was so happy that The Queen won, because I thought it was a great movie. And I'm also glad that The Departed and Pan's Labyrinth won as-well, because I really want to see those movies.

Marie Antoinette also won and I'm happy, because even though there were a lot of negative reviews for it, I thought it was an excellent movie. And congrats to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, it was a huge box office success and was sure t win!

I thought Ellen DeGeneres did a terrific job as host, she was so funny!

N° 5

I went out today to purchase a new perfume, and found myself at the Chanel counter. I remember a few years ago, I smelled all of Chanel's perfumes, and hated them, so today, I was very hesitant. I sprayed a little of N° 5 on, and walked around a little bit. About 10 minutes later I sniffed my wrist, and wow, I absolutely love this scent. I've heard that this can smell "old lady-ish" but to me this is just the epitome of pure femininity. Chanel N° 5 is one of those scents that either smells lovely on you, or wreaks, because of everyone's different body chemistry. I guess I'm lucky that one of the classics smells good on me, and I'm very grateful, because when I smell this, I think Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and Jackie O, all style and woman.

I purchased this in the pure parfum form, because I've heard that the Eau de Toilette doesn't smell like N° 5 very much at all, and that the Eau de Parfum is better. However, if you want all the excellence of Chanel N° 5, you just have to buy the parfum. So I did, albeit, it was quite more expensive.

So, on with my purchases from today:

Chanel N° 5 Parfum

Chanel TEINT INNOCENCE in Albâtre

Chanel LÈVRES SCINTILLANTES in Volage

Chanel OMBRE ESSENTIELLE in Fizz

February

Hello, and happy February, or well, just hello. So a couple days ago it was Groundhog day, does anyone know if we should expect a long or short winter this year? I never actually pay attention to it, the movie made me HATE the occasion.

So, I've been busy and that's why I haven't updated much, but I'll try to again really soon. Umm, yesterday I went to my friend's party and had a great time, we went skating and I just talked and hung out with my some of my friends. Skating is the only thing—apart from Christmas, my birthday, and New Years— that I like about winter, I absolutely HATE the rest.

Well, just a random post for ya. :)
